Takara Fukushima

Instructor

Born in Osaka, Japan, Takara Fukushima began her ballet training at the age of eight. She joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre (USA) as a professional dancer in 2013. She is also a guest dancer and teacher in both of American and Japanese ballet companies and schools. In 2018, she completed the curriculum for the Kniaseff method floor barre (Barre au Sol) and became a certified instructor.

She performed the Saint Petersburg State Ballet (Japan tour) in 2007. At the age of fifteen she studied in the Academie de Danse Classique Princess Grace, under Marika Bezobrazova in Monaco. In 2011, she received a Scholarship to study at the Central School of Ballet in London, England.
